Lateral Moraine
Geoform Type: A ridge-like moraine carried on (and deposited at) the side margin of a valley glacier. It is composed chiefly of rock fragments derived from valley walls by either glacial abrasion and plucking or colluvial accumulation from adjacent slopes.
